TRACER
Vest-free, camera-AI laser tag. Play anywhere.
Camera blaster + iOS companion app · on-device hit detection · field-tested V2.1
Every backyard becomes an arena.
Every tree becomes cover.
The laser tag you've wanted since you were ten — no vests, no arena, no referees, no arguing. Grab your phone, grab your TRACER, and the game starts anywhere.
You shot them. They say you missed. The game stops.
Everyone's lived it — backyard blasters, home laser tag, driveway Nerf wars. No one can prove who got hit, so it ends in an argument. And every alternative makes you compromise:
- Laser tag — needs an arena, and you wear the vest.
- Airsoft — hurts, costs a lot, and needs a controlled field.
- Paintball — welts, mess, and a pricey dedicated field.
- Gel blasters — messy, and still can't tell who got hit.
- Nerf & blasters — no way to confirm a hit.
Why now: every phone is a camera + screen that supports advanced computer vision. On-device, it can finally confirm a hit on a person — with nothing worn by the target.
Hit or miss on the phone.
V2.1 Prototype

Six generations. Field-tested to market-ready.

Proof of concept. Full loop in 17 days — trigger, capture, Apple Vision, hit or miss. Hand-dremelled shell.

Trust pass. Fresh frame every shot. Audio, laser, rebuilt iOS app. The one-behind bug is gone.

Platform rebuild. 5MP autofocus, Wi-Fi, designed interiors. US and Canadian provisionals filed here.

Own silhouette. Original CAD pistol. Stopped looking like someone else’s firearm.

Full stack on the new platform. Haptic recoil, LED, battery reporting. Open-shelled to prove it runs. It did.

Clean build. Closed, routed, field-tested. Firmware past 3,000 lines. Today’s working prototype reference.

In progress. Market-ready exterior on the bench — more to come. Internal layout, trigger, grip, and barrel still being finalized before we go live.
Six product generations on the journey — electronics and app proven in the field; industrial design closing out for launch.
Three things that change the game.
Made for people who already play.
- Families & kids who've outgrown Nerf but can't host laser tag.
- Airsoft & gel players who want the fun without the welts.
- Birthday parties, camps, youth groups, dorms, bachelor parties.
Same energy as laser tag and backyard wars — with confirmed hits and a screen that keeps score.
Muzzle camera → phone → hit or miss.
Multiplayer lobbies and match history sync when you’re online; scoring stays on the phone for speed.
